ENTN Outdoors was formed in August of 2023 by Brian Sherrick. In January of 2024 ENTN Outdoors purchased Midwest Hunting Consultants. Midwest Hunting Consultants owners Dan and Deb Bolek have worked with Brian for many years in his hunting travels. This was the perfect opportunity for Brian to continue Dan and Debs legacy of providing the ultimate hunting adventures with their decades of experience in the outdoor industry. Dan has a special passion for hunting and this transition allows him to continue with ENTN Outdoors while spending more time with his wife,3 daughters, plus all of their grandchildren. Brian and Dan are so proud and excited about what the future holds for ENTN Outdoors and look forward to speaking with you to discuss your next outdoor adventure.

Our Team
Brian N. Sherrick
Owner
Brian N. Sherrick is a native of Bettendorf, Iowa. He started his career in the golf industry in the mid 1990’s. After his golf career, he moved into the banking industry in the early 2000’s working in both retail and commercial lending until 2011. In 2011, he purchased a company that produces rock, soil, and mulch for the lawn and garden industry.
Throughout his entire career he has enjoyed hunting all over the world from places like Alaska, Canada, Greenland, and Africa, just to name a few places. His passion for conservation-based hunting has always been a core belief. He began working with a hunting consultant in 2011 and really saw the value that an agent provides for all his hunting travels.
Having seen the passion and importance of hunting consultants he decided to jump into the industry in 2023 by starting ENTN Outdoors. He is also a big proponent of doing shows that show his conservation work along with showing everyone the amazing outfitters he works with daily. Dan Bolek
Senior Hunting Consultant
Dan Bolek, a Chicago native, has dedicated his life to the world of hunting. From his early days hunting waterfowl in the marshes of Lake Michigan with his father, Dan’s passion for the sport blossomed into a distinguished career. As the owner and operator of Midwest Hunting Consultants, he has spent over four decades blending his skills in consulting and taxidermy to serve the hunting industry.
Dan’s career is marked by his management of Big Game and Waterfowl lodges and his extensive travels across the globe—from Alaska to Zimbabwe—seeking the finest hunting opportunities. His expertise and enthusiasm have earned him features on notable hunting shows and magazines such as Sporting Classics, Winchester Legends, Ducks Unlimited, and most recently Forbes.
Since ENTN Outdoors purchase of Midwest Hunting Consultants, Dan continues with ENTN Outdoors booking clients with top-tier hunting experiences. This partnership reflects his commitment to advancing wildlife adventures, with a focus on inspiring the next generation of hunters and supporting conservation efforts.
Julie Samuelson
Office Manager
Julie has spent 30 years as a hunting spouse in an outdoor family. She has come to appreciate the conservation of the sport as well as the meals it provides. Julie’s tenure as a travel agent and office assistant will provide attention to detail needed to ensure that all aspects are covered for your next ENTN Outdoors adventure.
